The tape is a continuation of a formal interview with Roza Shmuelvna Klein. (Part 2 of 2. See MDV 674) They discuss cultural terminology. They then briefly talk about remembering Jews who were killed during the war. Approximately 20,000 Jews from Starokostyantyniv perished during the war. Klein then shares a recipe for gefilte fish and they discuss food customs in general. The team then asks a number of dialectological questions from the AHEYM Yiddish questionnaire. The interview concludes with a message from Klein to Yiddish-learners. |
