The tape is a continuation of a formal interview with Brukha Fayveshevna Gammer. (Part 2 of 2. See MDV 421) After a discussion of food customs during Jewish holidays, she answers a series of dialectological questions from the Yiddish questionnaire. Then the team briefly chats with Gammer’s daughter, Zhenia, in Yiddish. The interview concludes with Gammer showing a photograph of Jewish partisans and a discussion of Yiddish-speakers in the region.
